History of STANDARD RADIO COOPERATION

full name: Standard Radio Corp., Kurzform SRC

Products: up to 1995 2-way-radios for hamradio and maritime, now only maritime 2-way-radios.

1966 Standard Radio Corp. and Marantz started a cooperation.
Marantz transfered manufacture to Japan.

1975 Standard Radio Corp was named to Marantz Japan Inc.

In following decades several high end 2-way-radios for portable, mobile and base jusage were produced.

1998 - 2000 SRC was bought from YAESU.

Today STANDARD HORIZON produces 2-way-radios almost only for maritime.

Only some YAESU-radios, like the FTM-10 are labeld as STANDARD. But STANDARD itself now produces 2-way-radios for maritime.
